Religious Education

Parents, Catechists, & Parishioners

On behalf of all our dedicated catechists, I would like to extend to you a prayerful welcome as we all embark on a new year of religious education here at St. Joseph’s. We are excited to be able to join with your family as, together, we all travel the journey of faith, grow in the Good News, and bear witness to the fuller realization of God’s Kingdom here on earth.

With the end of classes in sight, it is time once again to register your child/children for the 2009/2010 Religious Education classes at St. Joseph’s Church. The catechists and I have enjoyed having your children in classes this past year and look forward to seeing them again in the fall to continue their religious education. St. Joseph’s parish and community would like to thank all catechists for the dedication to their ministry and their devotion to teaching the children of St. Joseph’s.

The registration forms to register your child/ren for classes for the next school year, which must be signed by the parent / legal guardian, are to be returned to the Religious Education Office no later than June 1, 2009. Classes are formed on a first-come basis. Watch the Bulletin and/or the web site for the beginning of the 2009-10 classes. The class schedule/calendar will be published after the school calendars are set for the new school year.

If you are interested in helping in a class or teaching, please call the office for information and clearance forms.

If you have questions you may call the RE office, 831-455-8720, between the hours of 9:30 am and 3:30 pm; however, if you would like to speak to me personally, please call the office between the hours of 1:30 and 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. Carrie Aragon, DRE.

We look forward to seeing you and your children in the fall. Have a wonderful summer!
