Involvement Within the Pastoral Ministry

Pastoral Council

The purpose of the Pastoral Council is to promote effective communication by providing an advisory forum to the Pastor. The council represents all members of St. Joseph’s Parish and participates in decision making and direction setting which will foster parish unity and renewal. The council may have up to 11 members who volunteer their time and energy. Meetings are held as needed in the Parish Center at 7:00 pm. All are welcome to participate. Finance Council

Helps in the ongoing development of financial records and reporting. Works with department heads to create a fiscal year budget. Reports to the Pastoral Council periodically on progress of cash flow vs. cash flow projections. Members meet as required throughout the year. Contact: Jason Cook, 320-6363.

Welcome Committee

Calls on newly registered parishioners to inform them of the many ministries available at St. Joseph’s. Contact: (volunteer needed).
